Hello, my name is CJ Renzi, owner and instructor at GuitarHeads. Thank you so much for your interest in my guitar program. I tailor guitar lessons to the interests and needs of the student while teaching proper technique and music reading skills. I have over 20 years of performance experience, 14 years of teaching experience, and I am a certified music teacher with a Masters in Music Education. The guitar is an excellent segue to instruments such as piano or violin. At the same time, my lessons are perfect for students who are new to music lessons. I look forward to working with you.

TIME and POLICIES
to schedule lessons. All lessons are 30 minutes or one hour long, depending on age, skill level, and the program you want. We meet once a week. Based on the calendar, you might receive 5, 4, or 3 lessons in a month. Tuition remains the same each month regardless of the number of lessons you receive. I require a one month commitment. If you cancel a lesson, 24 hour notice is required for a make-up lesson to be granted. If I cancel a lesson, I will give a make-up or prorate that month’s tuition. If you are going to discontinue lessons, I ask that you give me 2 weeks notice so I can fill the open slot.
COST (per month)
$140 for one 30 minute lesson per week
$280 for one 60 minute lesson per week
Once lessons are scheduled, you can pay for them online through PayPal.
The importance of an appropriate guitar cannot be overstated. My younger students use child-sized guitars with nylon strings to avoid hand injury and development of poor technique. If you live in Houston, I recommend Memorial Music to all students for quality guitars. Ask for Ron or Jordan at 713-461-1060. The cost is about $130 for a quality instrument and a case.
